Select Carriers is thrilled to welcome Jake Killgore to the team as a Director of Sales and Business Development. Jake joins with 20 years of combined shipper and carrier experience and expertise in warehousing, TMS, SAP, RFP and transportation procurement.
Jake is a native of Colorado and attended the University of Kansas where he graduated with a Business Communications degree in 2001. He cut his teeth in the Logistics Industry at the CH Robinson in Chicago. After two years at CH he had the opportunity to come home to CO to work on the Shipper side of the industry with Coors Brewing company. At Coors (now MolsonCoors) he has held the following roles: Transportation Analyst, Warehousing/DC manager, Multi-Modal Trans manager and eventually to the overall lead for the Over The Road Transportation team managing a group of 22 people. Jake also spent 3 years at WhiteWave/ Danone (from 2012 to 2015) as the group manager for all finished goods freight.
Jake is married to his wife Kristen of 13 years and has two boys (Reece 9) and (Rory 7). He enjoys Golfing and Skiing and is a die-hard Denver Broncos & Kansas Jayhawks fan.
